Valentia Lecture 2021

On the afternoon of Friday, 1 October 2021 we look forward to hosting the 5th Valentia Lecture which will revisit the topic of globalisation with the theme “ Globalisation – Our Interconnected and interdependent World “

We are excited to announce an international panel of speakers which will include Ms. Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union, along with Mr Donie O Sullivan, CNN Correspondent who will join RTE’s Katie Hannon in a fireside chat.

This year we will again be hosting an online “link-up” with Hearts Content in Newfoundland Canada, in which political leaders from both sides of the Atlantic will speak to the theme “Lessons Learned from the Edge of the Atlantic“

We look forward to you joining us for this online event which will be broadcast from the historic Cable Station at Valentia in two parts. Please register now and we will forward you login details closer to the event.

Thank you for your continued support and we will look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be another stimulating lecture in our ongoing series.
