Valentia Lecture 2019

The 2019 lecture will be held on Friday July 12th, starting at 2pm and the theme of this years event will be;

“ Globalisation – Our Interconnected and interdependent World “

We are excited to announce an international panel of speakers which will include;

  • Ms Danielle McCormack, Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht
  • Mr Seán Páircéir, Global Head for Investor Services for Brown Brothers Harriman
  • Mr Kevin O Malley, Former US Ambassador to Ireland
  • Mr Pascal Donohoe, TD, Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure Link to Minister Donohoe's Speech

This years event will also include a panel discussion with our speakers facilitated by Ms Fiona Stack of Radio Kerry. Once again, the lecture will be held in the historic Cable Station in Knightstown.

This will be followed by a reception and gala dinner starting at 7pm that evening at the Royal Hotel, which will include the launch of his book “An tOileánach - the voices of Valentia” by Michael Lyne.
